Hey there translators! In this guide you will find the answers to these questions like:
Let’s get into it!
THE END RESULT OF YOUR TRANSLATIONS HAS TO BE EXCEPTIONAL FOR A TIER BOOST
Hello translators! I thank all of you very much for your efforts and passion. Our aim on this site is to guide friends who want to contribute to io.net in their own language but whose English level is not good. In short, what you need to do is to completely translate the English page I cloned for you into your own language. I want you to translate all the subpages, special content and menu buttons you can find. After all this is done, you can let me know that you are finished, share our success in your own community and direct them to this site.
In short, everything! Apart from that, there is something you should pay attention to. As an example, you can take the page prepared by the French team as a basis. As you can see in the picture below, the worker installation guides have also been translated. You can do this by copying all the documents on the official site and opening a new page in Notion. I also want you to translate Kevindebruno's worker debugging guide, which you will also find on the worker installations page. Just make sure that you don’t miss a page 😊
On top of that, I would like you to change all of the videos that you will find under pages to the videos that your local community has created.
You can change the basic plan of your own language page, but only if you leave critical main headings. Again, you can find an example of this on the French page. It looks a little different compared to the English page, but they definitely didn't delete the original titles. Apart from this, if there is a meme, content or event that is specific to your community, you can share it on the site.
Your current focus should be on translating existing content, but if you want to add new content produced by your community in the future, you can of course do this. At the same time, if you find cool content in other languages, you can tell other language channel managers and have them add it. Good luck!
